Mark Laycock, fighting out of Bloodline associates NRG competes in his first KBX outing against Bridgwater's Juris Poskus.
Poskus has appeared successfully on Absolute Adrenaline previously and is fast and furious over the 3 round duration.
Laycock made his debut in the summer under White Collar Boxing rules, scoring an impressive win.
There is not a backward step amongst these two and we are considering giving them a telephone box instead of a ring to fight in! |

Russell Parsons Made his first outing several years ago in support of Julia's House charity. This time he returns to do the same again.
He faces Southampton's Adam Garner, who has competed under most rule sets during his career.
This will be a clash between two fighters who are absolute gentlemen outside of the ring.
But lets see how they are when the first bell goes! |

Joe Gormley & Adam Newman both make their debut's on Absolute Adrenaline 'Platinum' .
Both of these fighters are products of Bulldog Bloodline associates. Gormley is coached by John Orchard Training and Newman by John Whittam Training, so there is a little competitive pride at stake here.
As with many of our Boxers there is a charity angle to this contest. Joe Gormley fights for the BC Club charities who support local based and individual causes throughout the year.
Adam Newman has taken this shot at short notice but has been fit and ready to go for some time. He was under consideration for a later event but has grabbed this opportunity to appear on the big show with both hands! |

Kickboxing legend and multiple world champion John Orchard returns to the ring - this time under Boxing rules, to face 100+ fight veteren Shaun Law.
Amazingly Law is only in his early 20's but loves to fight and has absolutely jumped at the chance to face Orchard.
Orchards forseeable future is in Boxing with only a few Kickboxing matches out there tasty enough to tempt him to kick again, and most of those surrounded by politics and excuses.
This is a great match between two skilful fighters. Law will want the win against such a legend, Orchard will settle for nothing less than a stoppage as Law has never been stopped.
A fitting end to a big night! |

At the top end of the Platinum card 3 x World Kickboxing Champion Natalie Bee returns to re-establish herself ahead of 2013's proposed super fight with Christine Theiss in Germany.
Natasa Zerajic (Bosnia) has other ideas and wants that spot for herself. Zerajic fought at the lighter weight on the Theiss undercards and has also captured national and European titles, so she will be no stranger to this level of competition.
Natalie Bee's enforced and elongated absence from the ring seems to have done her good as she looks devastating in training and probably better than she has ever been.
It's exciting to have her back under the Bee Fit/Team Bulldog banner! |

IKF English Light Middleweight Kickboxing Champion John Whittam (Team Bulldog) looks to make a 3rd successful defence of his title against Bridgwaters Rob Ellick.
Ellick is champion in the next division down, having dismantled former Bulldog fighter Rikki Beale over 5 rounds to capture the belt. On that evening he looked unstoppable and has continued his winning run since, with his only loss against Ryan Edmundson for the British title.
Whittams only loss was also to Edmundson, who has gone on to capture world honours.
You have to say that Whittam is the slicker of the two but be under no illusion, this is a genuine challenge for the belt and could be very very close!
The winner will go on to challenge for the vacated British title in early 2012! |

Martin Saxon has been given the runaround for this event with several opponents pulling out, mostly for no good reason. However, his original foe Jan Varai (Norway) is now back in the mix.
Saxon has a solid track record but has been out of action for some time. Even so, his training has been good and he is on target.
Jan Varai is another from the famous Trevor Ambrose camp. Expect good skills and footwork and (as with all the Norwegians) a great level of fitness.
Once again Saxon has been lured back into the ring to represent the BC Club, who exist to provide for many local individual charities.
A great cause and two genuinely nice guys. Please show your support! |

This is one of Platinums charity match up's under White Collar Boxing Rules.
Paul Meyer (Team Bulldog) fought 18 months ago in his first charity boxing contest, losing a close but entertaining battle against Gary Halcrow.
Although pledging that he would only fight the once, the lure of a quality charity pay out has tempted him back into the ring. That and the buzz of actually competing.
Ross Dunham has had a hard run against big punchers but is in his best shape ever and as usual, shouting the odds (ever the publicity junkie)!
It's all done in good spirit and will prove to be a great contest. Meyer is rumoured to have a special guest playing him in on his entrance - but more of that later! |
