| Strictly Business: Shaun King V Odd Anders Vedding | | Print | |

The early work saw a fast pace and a lot of trading, which both men seemed happy with. King was taller and really needed to keep the Norwegian at range, but chose not to. Vedding was faster and kept the action close which suited his reach. King took a flurry of punches including a solid body shot which sent him down for a count but he was soon up and trading again and as the bell went for the end of the first he was clearly right back in it. The second round was more of the same with both men stepping up a gear. Again the range eluded King and they were soon trading again. Another combination to the body sent him down again but he was up at 6. It was claer there was rib damage and King came in for a last stand in an effort to despatch Vedding, but the Norseman was having none of it. The second round over the Bulldog corner made the wise decision to retire King on his stool to save any additional damage to his ribs, earning Vedding the win and the 'Best Prospect' award.

In one of three international contests on the 'Strictly' card, Shaun King (Team Bulldog) was looking for a decent comeback under Kickboxing rules. But things did not quite go to plan against Odd Anders Vedding (Bergen Norway).
