| Strictly Business: Adam Urban V Ian Squire | | Print | |

Squire, although making his boxing debut, came with a decent Thai Boxing record and this ring experience served him well against the explosive Urban, who came flying at him from the opening bell. Squire defended well and almost immidiately returned fire with strong combinations that looked more accurate and clinical. Both men can be forgiven for fancying a trade off as in the heavyweight division one punch cancels out all the has come before it, and trade they did for almost the entire 3 round contest. The audience loved the early carnage and by the 3rd round this looked to be an even money clash, although if you had to pick a winner, it was Squires cleaner work that caught the eye. At the final bell one judge could not split them whilst the other two shaded it to Squire by a point each. A great undercard clash and a superb boxing debut for both men!
