Team Bulldog’s English champion (amateur) John Whittam (10-0) faces the big on Absolute Adrenaline – Rampage (25^th September).

In the opposing corner will be Bristol sensation Ryan Edmundson, who has smashed his way through almost every opponent to date.

With a revised record of 19-2 he recently captured a version of the world title at super welterweight. He now steps up to light-middle to contest the European title against the undefeated Whittam.

This is the co-headliner with everything to play for. It is genuine in its quality and the prize awaiting the winner is a shot at world champion Chris Chicon (USA). That said this is more important for Whittam as Edmunson’s goal is to turn pro in 2012, and prior to that he wants to drop back down to super welter to face Irishman Gary Manogue for the world crown.

So Whittam is focussed and fit for the biggest challenge of his career, in front of his home fans. His training is 110% and he will be looking to make a spectacular point and improve on his current world #3 position.
