Rikki Beale certainly made up for last weeend's disappointment with an excellent victory over the more experienced Jason Stratton.

Beales first round was pure class as he kept a perfect range and loaded up on Stratton with combination shots to the body and head.

Stratton looked as though he was getting to grips with things and was certainly not hurt, but he gave away the first round by a large margin with too much hesitation being his downfall.

In the 2nd he got right on top of Beale making it hard for the Bulldog man to work. But even so Stratton was not working, just smothering and even though he took a few shots, Beale was still working cleaner and with a tighter defence.

The 3rd round was much the same, Stratton working to close things down but Beale delivering the cleaner work.

At the final bell Beales hand was raised and he is now back in the frame for his Area title tilt in April.
