Sam Rocha looked pretty comfortable throughout the first round of his contest with Azran Quasid, although it has to be said that Quasid came looking for the more experienced scalp.

Both men exchanged solid shots in this mainly stand up affair with Rocha shaking Quasid first. But his recovery was almost instant and as the round reached it's climax Rocha took a right hand of his own. His legs went but he made it to the end of the round, even fighting back in the process.

In the corner Rocha was unable to see out of one of his eyes and on closer inspection it was decided to call the contest off.

It was an unlucky break for Rocha who falls to 9-4, but an excellent scalp for Quasid who improves to 4-5.

Rocha goes on to Extreme Brawl in March and is also looking at a slot on Absolute Adrenaline in April.
